Mai’s Gallery, 16 Nguyen Hue Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Application is open to all professional artists living in Vietnam, students are not eligible to apply.

Please provide the following materials:

1 - Please tell us why you would like to participate in this residency in New York. Consider in your explanation the benefits that it may have on your art work and career and what you hope to gain from the experience (not more than one page).

2 - Resume or C.V. detailing exhibitions, awards, scholarships, residencies, or other artistic achievements that you have had.

3 - Ten (10) 35mm color slides of recent art works, please also submit slide description list on a separate sheet of paper, include artists name, title of work, size, materials and date. Number slides to correspond with slide list and indicate the top of slide.

OR

Ten (10) color photographs of recent art works, please include description of artwork on the back of each photograph, include artists name, title of work, size, materials and date.

OR

1 VHS video tape ( NTSC format ). Please include information about the artworks shown on a separate sheet of paper.

OR

1 CD or 1 DVD, please include information about the artworks shown on a separate sheet of paper.
(Please be advised that although these will be accepted, we do not recommended them, as in many cases CDs and DVDs produced in Vietnam can not be viewed in USA )

4 - Stamped, addressed envelope for returning all materials (from HCMC).
